African Palace MAKES DREAMS COME TRUE

African Palace is a running a competition/promotion called Dream It Into Life. The purpose of this promo is to make our players dreams come true. We daily sift through the vast amounts of entries to see which Dreams we can bring to life. After months of research and deliberation…we made a decision. We were about to make a player’s Dream come true.

This was what our first winning entry read:

“I have become involved at a halfway house for babies in Kuilsrivier, and they need to have [a vast amount of] renovations done, and my wish is to be able to make this happen for them.”

This entry touched the hearts of the African Palace Team. We contacted Charmian R and informed her about her winning entry. It was then smooth sailing and planning to ensure the success of this venture.

On April 28th 2008 Charmian R was presented a cheque of R50 000 for Rock A Bye House, compliments of African Palace. The Presentation was conducted at Madame Zingara’s Theatre of Dreams in Cape Town.

“I just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful evening we had at Madame Zingara's.  It was my first time there, and what an experience.
 
Of course, my receiving the check for Rock a Bye House was the highlight of the evening, but we had lots of fun, the entertainment was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious.
 
Once again thank you for everything, once we have done the renovations at Rock A Bye, I will send you some before and after photos.” - Was Charmian’s response the evening.

Another Player had this to say about the cheque presentation to African Palace player Charmian, representative for Rock A Bye House:

“African Palace, you are tops and your shares in my good books went straight through the ceiling when you presented a R50,000 cheque to Rock-a-bye. What a beautiful gesture of kindness and compassion.”
