5 African Palace extreme Home Make-Overs have been completed

Home is where the heart is and African Palace has given away a staggering R250 000 on home make-over’s.

African Palace recently ran a competition that had our players cooking up a storm. We offered 5 players the amazing opportunity to put the sparkle back into their homes with our home make-over competition. There were two major prizes up for grabs which included a whopping R65 000 each Home/ kitchen make- over however we didn’t stop there as we gave our players another dig at the gold by offering 3 Runner-ups the chance to win a home/kitchen make over to the value of R40 000 each.

A total of R250 000 in make-over’s were up for grabs and WOW the response was overwhelming! The competition started with a bang as we began our search for our 13 finalists. Each week we selected a new finalist until at the end of the 13 week period we had them all lining up with excitement. The next big step saw all 13 anxious finalists submit an entry onto our promotions page in order to boost their chance and secure their spot in the competition. As time drew closer to an end our contestants were holding thumbs with our final draw taking place on Tuesday, 10 June 2008.

The Draw took place and phones started ringing as we contacted our five lucky winners.
Our five lucky winners were ecstatic with their win and couldn’t wait to begin - with 3 winners requesting a kitchen make-over and the other two showing their interests towards a lounge refurbishment.

African Palace spiced up a roast and contacted South Africa’s very own Ty Pennington who put together 5 of our most talented design teams. The plans were developed and our designers jetted off to Northcilff, East London, Stillfontein and of Course who can forget Cape Town’s very own Simons town. The drilling began and rubble started to go missing as we climbed the ladder to modern day living. Things really started to come together as we ripped up the old and brought in the new.

A huge congratulations goes out to our five lucky winners who won prizes courtesy of African Palace. I’m sure they are certainly enjoying their time at home through our huge efforts to transform old living into modern day magic.

“Thanks for my new kitchen African Palace. I’ve really been spoilt and it’s been ages since I’ve cooked up a storm in my kitchen, but now I love it. It’s so wonderful to prepare those buffet lunches I couldn’t do before because the kitchen was too small”

Julius D loved the look of his new kitchen.

“I couldn’t believe it when the news came through. I still don’t! My kitchen is definitely the best room in the house now, its good to know I finally won something. I will always continue to play with African Palace because you never know what you could win next”
