African Palace Takes Players to New Heights Karen and Craig Jet off to Switzerland… It was a beautiful Friday evening and Karen and her husband Craig were getting anxious about their much-awaited trip to Switzerland. The day was finally here…we arrived at OR Tambo International Airport and met Lady Luck herself at the Intercontinental Airport Sun. Just a few hours till take-off…the excitement of experiencing the wonders of Switzerland had become a reality.
A few weeks ago Karen was convinced that the wonderful prize was not hers for the taking and when the Casino Manager called her to relay the good news all she had to say was “Ja, I know I didn’t win!” But she was so wrong…on Friday 25th January Karin and Craig had their bags packed, left their troubles behind and were ready to jet off to Switzerland.
Sitting around a dinner table at the restaurant we had some time to chat about Karen’s African Palace experience. Not much of a gambler, Craig is a bit sceptical about Karen’s gambling habits but he feels the “the safety at African Palace is amazing” and Karen most definitely agrees. With her non-stop winning spree Karin has managed to open two businesses…but this time her win got her an all-expenses paid trip to Switzerland! She always thoroughly enjoys her African Palace experience each time she logs on to play. We then got back to talking about her magnificent prize. She says, "People doubted whether I was really going to Switzerland, but now I know for sure, I am really going. Its all fresh now and it’s gonna happen!" It surely did...Karen and Craig enjoyed a magnificent week under Swiss skies.

“Oh, it was FANTASTIC!!!!” was the reaction from Karen when describing her trip. We gave her a call to welcome her back and that was the first thing she said…and from then on she couldn’t stop sharing her excitement. The trip was exactly what she expected and more, everything was precisely according to the package and it was evidently of a very high standard. “The staff was great and the package was brilliant.” It was the perfect winter wonderland…with the perks of a fairytale accommodation. Surrounded by a plethora of white, the beauty of Switzerland was truly captivating. Apart from the trip being “fantastic,” Karen and Craig experienced cold weather at its peak…and of course that kept them awake during all the energetic ski training. When we spoke to Karen before she left for her trip she said that she’d been water-skiing and loved it, so skiing couldn’t be that different. But now she realises how wrong she was! "It was tough controlling myself on the ski’s and extremely tiring. We began training every morning at 9:00 and finished at 17:00." But that’s not all; Karen and Craig discovered that in the same resort there were a group of 35 South Africans, which only meant late nights of partying and more enjoyment! They were separated into three groups and out of the three it was only Karen’s group that managed to make it to the top of the slope and ski down…Congratulations Karen! Craig was not quite the ski fanatic and decided that he’d much rather spend his time chatting in pubs with some of the fellow South African’s who shared his opinion on skiing. It was a truly memorable trip and Karen and Craig thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Karen plans to go back to the exact holiday destination with her kids so they can experience the wonders of Switzerland.
