$127 Million Gambling Loss Settlement due to be Reached
5 July 2010
Terrence Watanabe, who lost a staggering $127 million in the course of a year due to gambling, should reach a settlement with the casino company shortly. Watanabe went on a year-long gambling binge, which cost him this staggering amount in casino losses. He claimed that Harrah’s Entertainment Inc enticed him with drink and drugs which caused him to lose all this money. A fierce legal battle has ensued in Nevada for over a year and it should come to an end soon. Although Harrah claims that Watanabe still owes them $14.7 million in gambling debt, the case should be dropped against both parties.
