2012 May See Online Gambling Double

There is a huge amount of money to be made should Australia choose to relax their restriction on online gaming. In 2008, about $790 million was spent by Australians on offshore online poker and gaming websites. Given the technological advances in mobile phone and various other devices, it is estimated that the global market for online gambling is set to double by 2012. These recent estimates may go some way to lighten restrictions on online gambling in Australia.
