Broadcaster Five to launch casino

British broadcaster, Five, will be launching a new online casino and bingo website later in 2009 following their deal with PartyGaming. This follows Five’s intensive strategy to build its digital business and create new online revenue. CEO Dawn Airey was quoted as saying that “Five is looking aggressively as to how to expand its presence in digital media that reflect the channel’s unique sense of dynamism and fun.” PartyGaming CEO Jim Ryan responded that “With more than 30 million weekly viewers, Five is an important addition to our expanding business-to-business portfolio.”
