Century Casinos Leave SA

US based Century Casinos Inc will be leaving South African shores pending an approval from the KZN Gambling Board. The group has sold off their SA interests to Tsogo Sun Gaming Ltd for $44 million. These interests include the Caledon Hotel, Spa and Hotel in Cape Town and 60% of Century Casino in Newcastle. These properties will now be added to Tsogo Sun’s portfolio which includes MonteCasino, Suncoast Casino and Entertainment World, Hemingways Castle, the Ridge Casino and Entertainment Resort and Emnotweni Casino.
