Cosatu and Sun City Reach Agreement over stike

Cosatu threatened to bring  Sun City to its knees in a major strike that would have frozen the entertainment resort for the festive season. The trade union representative movement for Cosatu announced that a memorandum of understanding had been signed with management. Cosatu claimed that a Falcon Security officer, contracted to provide security services to Sun City, distributed a racially offensive CD at a staff function.  As a result, Cosatu threatened a massive strike that would have blocked the roads to and from the resort, and impacted the holiday season.
