Dream Team for WSOP

Dream Team Poker will be hosting a tournament at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino during the 2009 World Series of Poker. The tournament will be held from the 12th to the 13th July 2009 and the buy in is $500. The first 300 teams that pre-register will receive personalised jerseys from Dream Team Poker. WSOP Commissioner, Jeffrey Pollack, was quoted as saying “The Dream Team event is a fun, new element that will help make this WSOP event a memorable one for all players and fans.”

Dream Team Poker is a relatively new player in the market but has experienced phenomenal growth over the last six months. The group held two very successful Invite Only events in November last year and March this year. Both events were sold out and well attended, with the tournament in Caesars Poker Room boasting 148 teams and 444 players. The group is waiting for the patent on their new team based tournament structure, which will increase the competitiveness of the game by providing team and individual pools.
