Facebook Seats for WSOP

Seats to the WSOP Main Event will soon be available through world popular social networking site, Facebook. Zynga, the largest developer of social games, will be hosting free to play Texas Hold’Em games on Facebook. Two skilled players will have the chance to win a seat at the WSOP main event. Zynga CEO Mark Pincus says “we have built our Texas Hold’Em game into the largest game on Facebook. We know that Poker is a lifestyle which includes playing online and offline, as well as watching it on TV. “

WSOP’s VP Craig Abrahams goes on to say that “The Main Event of the WSOP is the Holy Grail and now for the first time players from all over the world can play free Texes Hold’Em games and win a seat to the biggest tournament in the world.” The prize includes a roundtrip airfare to Las Vegas, three night’s accommodation at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino, a backstage tour of the WSOP venue and a day pass to the VIP Players’ Lounge. The ‘shootout’ tournaments begin on the 8th June and run until the 22nd June. The eighteen winners will then play in the Final Showdown on the 29th and 30th of June.
