Gambling tax for Costa Rica Costa Rica seems to be set to pass a 2% gambling tax law within the next few weeks. This would result in the gambling, gaming and betting industry generating over $85miilion for the country’s government. This is despite the fact that some industry experts arguing that the tax will aid to casino’s woes following on from the relatively steep reduction in revenue in the first half of 2009.
