Global Recession Hits Online Casino Industry

The morass of the global economic market is finally impacting on the sites. Tipp24 has been forced to lay off workers due to a downturn in revenue and the effect of the German government’s restricting legislation. Voted into effect on the 1st January this year, the law has made it impossible for non German casinos to operate within the country, forcing companies such as Tipp24 to relocate their headquarters outside of Germany altogether. Tipp24’s move to the UK costs 139 Germans their jobs – a scant 15 employees remain at the German office.
