Irish Win for IWF

A 24 year old Irish student, Michael O’Sullivan, scooped the top prize of €143 000 in the Paddy Power Irish Winter Festival. Tournament buy in was €1 650 and Michael Murphy was placed second with a purse of €88 500. O’Sullivan is fairly well known within the industry and has placed in a number of games. He was quoted as saying that his win “hasn’t sunken (sic) in yet” but that he will carry on with his studies.
