Jan Skampa wins final EPT of the year The last EPT stop of 2009 saw 586 players stump up the €5,000 to create a huge prize pool and a €682,000 first-place prize. The trophy stayed on Czech soil after local boy Jan Skampa – who made the final table of the EPT Vilamoura – took down the event, defeating Eyal Avitan heads-up to claim it all.
