Norway to ban online gambling

Following on from the Bush administration’s outlawing of online gambling within the US, Norway looks set to follow suit with similar constraints on the cards by mid 2010. Norwiegan civil rights advocates and online players have protested the move, which was prompted mostly by the government’s attempt to curb problem gambling. This follows on the already vehement protests and outcries of unfair trade practices that are currently plaguing the EU.
