Online Gaming to be Taxed in Ireland

Ireland is currently working on introducing a legislation to tax online gaming in the country. Going forward, overseas betting providers will require a license in order to be permitted to sell their products in Ireland. There is, however, concern over whether the proposed legislation will impact jobs that have been created in Ireland. It is thought that this proposed tax will be tied into subsidizing in the racing industry.
