Sol Kerzner Still on Top

The launch party for the ‘One and Only’ Hotel was hosted by Sol Kerzner who jetted into the country for the R10 million event. Four hundred guests attended the launch, including Hollywood stars Matt Damon, Clint Eastwood and Robert de Niro. The One and Only costs R100 million and has been built on two artificial islands located off the Waterfront. The most expensive room in the One and Only is the Presidential Suite, costing a very pretty R55 000 per night.
