World Team Poker announces date of inaugural event

World Team Poker announced that its Inaugural Event will be held at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas on May 19, 2010. The one day event will feature forty of the world's top poker pros, representing eight different countries with five members on each team. Each of the teams will be captained by “The Superstars” of Poker in their respective countries. The event will be a five table shoot out format consisting of rounds of Limit Hold'Em, Pot Limit Hold'Em and No Limit Hold'Em. The team buy-in will be a cool $50,000.
