Hey

Sport’ fans

Everybody is talking about the World Cup. We had some major upsets on Saturday with New Zealand and Australia bowing out of the tournament. Even the Boks gave us quite a scare against Fiji, but remain favourites to win the tournament now. South Africa played Argentina while France took on England in the respective semi-finals and five lucky players have won double packages to watch these matches, as well as the final, live from the stadium in France! They will also be in the front row when the Boks take on England this Saturday. They’re in for some huge excitement. Speaking of excitement, it seems that the F1 is really unpredictable as any one of three drivers can win the championship! There is only one more race to go so you have one more chance to win EVEN bigger on our F1 prediction competition.

But the winning doesn’t stop there..

Coming soon will be our next big promotion. In the spirit of giving this festive season, we are giving away a Ski Trip for two as well as loads of other fantastic prizes and bonuses.

And within ten days we gave away almost R2 million in Jackpots and winnings to four big winners! Winning has never been more exciting as it is with African Palace, and with the festive season so close, the fun is just beginning!

With such great excitement upon us, winning has never been more fun!

Gooooooo Boks!!

The Springboks are now the favourites to win the cup after both New Zealand and Australia were knocked out last Saturday. This means that the Semi-Finals offer some mouthwatering matches. In the penultimate race of the season this past weekend in China; season leader Lewis Hamilton had a chance to clinch the title. Instead he crashed out, and his closest rivals took the first and second place respectively, to give any one of those three drivers a good chance of winning the championship in the last race of the season. It really is a fairytale ending. We have the World Champion, Fernando Alonso currently behind his estranged rookie teammate Lewis Hamilton of McLaren, Ferrari’s Kimi Raikonnen seeks to add the Driver’s championship to his teams Manufacturer’s championship which they won in controversial circumstances after McLaren was stripped of their leadership. But in all the bitter rivalry, it comes down to who performs on the track – and in the next race, each of these drivers feel that they can win it.

So in our final F1 prediction competition the race is as tight as ever to predict. If you predict the winners for this one not only could you win big bonuses but we are also giving away fantastic prizes as well!

It's the GRAND FINALE as the F1 goes to Brazil.

With all these wonderful promotions, the winning didn’t stop there. Since our last newsletter we have given away close to R2 million in jackpots and winnings to four players over the space of ten days! Here are some of the players that won big at African Palace recently. Watch out for your name here soon!

Sometimes you have to go to various places to find luck, but Willem W went from outer space to the wild wild west to a magical forest to claim his fortune. His penchant for the 25-line slots of Alien Hunter, Wanted, and Forest of Wonders brought him a cool R549 719!
“Words can’t explain the excitement of winning so magnificently. And the fact that it all happened in the comfort of my home made it even better”

The Glitz and glamour of Hollywood has produced some BIG stars and Gerhard J must have felt like a star when he won R462 810 in the slots particularly the Cinerama machine.
“Winning is an unbelievable experience. I can hardly believe that I can now go on my dream holiday with my wife”

When people normally visit the race track they dress up in high fashion surrounded by a lot of stuffy punters. But, Marge A visited the track in her PJ’s all on her own and left with R473 061! That’s because she visited the derby day arcade game track at African Palace!
“I have to give credit to those little digital jockeys. Those guys made my dreams comes true!”

The Roulette wheel was the wheel of fortune for Sandy K last week when she won a cumulative of R311 671 at the table for her first big winning streak at the casino.
“After the first few wins, I knew this was my lucky day. I am going to clear all my debt!”

A further R265 000 was given out in bonuses in various promotions over the last two weeks.

The more you play; the more you win!

Our Progressive Jackpots have grown a bit since last time. At the time of publication they total almost R32 million! Here's where you can strike it big:

The Gold Rally jackpot is our biggest progressive by far as it now stands at a whopping R10 million - dig into this mine and you'll be digging into big pockets with this jackpot!

R3 million await in our Jackpot Darts as we get ever closer to that elusive bulls-eye. Hit it now, and become an instant millionaire!

While the Boks try to hold on to that rugby ball n France, many in South Africa should be trying to get their hands on the Megaball machine as it pays close to R1.4 million!

The Blackjack Progressive is racking up R1 million - The only way to beat the odds is to play it

The Magic Slots has also hit the R1 million mark and you can be sure that there is no hocus pocus messing about with this jackpot

R12 million remain in the progressives in various slots, and you never know where your luck lies..

Congratulations to all who cited Clive Owen as the solution to the previous Jester Challenge. Owen stars in the action flick Shoot 'Em Up out in circuits now opposite Monica Belluci.

A minimum of R100 was given to players that correctly submitted their details upon notification of their winnings.

The Jester is back again this week with a new challenge..

Can you guess who this is:

I was born as the oldest of five children. I was educated at a famous boys' independent school in England, and later at University College London where I read Ancient World Studies.

As a solo artist, I have written songs for a variety of acts and also collaborated with many more. I was once rumored to be dating a highly popular loose diva with whom I collaborated on in 2006.

My fascination with hip hop was shown in the summer of 2006 when I collaborated with a rapper in his comeback album after meeting him earlier in the year. My song is featured on his latest album and is rumored to be the third single off the album.

I married an Oscar-winning actress in 2003 and our daughter was born the next year in London. Our second child was born in New York City in 2006. A famous actor/ comedian is one of my children's Godfathers (the other is my bandmate).

I am ambidextrous, as I write with my left hand, play the French guitar the orthodox way and draw with my right hand

Send answers to editor@africanpalace.com before 20th October 2007.
