The first month of 2009 has proven to be a very lucky one for some of our African Palace players! Adolf H won the impressive amount of R160 000 on the Queen of Pyramids, Erlank v Z won R52 000 playing Blackjack Multihand and Karlien C took home a very nice R50 000 from her spell in the Alchemist's Lab. Other winners are Ben d B with his R24 000 from Dr Love More and Diane K garnered a healthy R22 000 from playing Jacks or Better - I guess she got better than just Jacks!

Congrats must also go to Hendrina H for her R10 000 win at Desert Treasure, Valerie V for her piping hot R12 000 in What's Cooking and Charles W for his spin at the Roulette Pro table which netted him R6 000. Lienkie E's win has helped her pay off some of her debt and Melanie vdB was finally able to tackle that mounting credit card bill - she says "The money came when I really needed it the most!"

As you can see we have winners abounding at African Palace, so keep playing and it could soon be you being patted on the back in our newsletter!

Congratulations to all of you who correctly identified William Gates (Bill Gates) as the solution to the previous Jester Challenge. The Jester is back again with a new mind twister...

Can you guess who I am????

Commonly regarded as one of the best Poker players of all time, I was born on the 14th May 1907 in Marshall, Texas. I have been called the 'Grand Old Man of Poker' because of my longevity and superior play. I have won 9 World Series of Poker bracelets and I won the last one when I was over 70 years of age. I was one of the original American rounders and was a charter inductee of the Poker Hall of Fame in 1979. The Ace-Ten is named after me and I passed away on the 16th December 1995.

Who am I?
